The Week of March 22 at CTS & FLC

Due to Governor Reynolds mandate of March 17, 2020:

We are sorry, but all church services and gatherings of any type at Christ the Servant in Corydon and First Lutheran in Chariton have been cancelled until Holy Week due to the coronavirus outbreak.  At that time, the situation will be reassessed.

Yesterday, you should have received information regarding the broadcast of Pastor Hutton’s messages on the radio.  Here is just a reminder:
Beginning this Sunday, March 22nd, at 10:30 AM, you can listen to the weekly sermon and prayers from First Lutheran Church and Christ the Servant Lutheran Church on KIIC Radio – 96.7 FM out of Albia, IA.  This broadcast will be an ongoing ministry of the two congregations every Sunday at 10:30 AM.

If there are some of you that are reluctant to leave your home for the next few weeks, please know that we are here to help you.  We have a list of volunteers who are willing to shop for your groceries, pick up prescriptions, etc, and deliver them to you.  Just call the church office at 641-774-4875 and Wendy will take care of it!  The office hours are Monday-Thursday from 8 am- 3 pm.

Please let us remember to keep each other in prayer during this difficult and trying time.  Even though we don’t understand or comprehend what is transpiring – WE MUST REMEMBER THAT GOD IS IN CONTROL AND KNOWS WHAT IS GOING ON AND WHAT WE NEED!
