THERE ARE LENTEN DEVOTIONALS for both adults and young people in the narthex at First Lutheran and in the basement at Christ the Servant Lutheran. For the adults there is a devotional entitled “Steadfast Love” and for the young people a devotional entitled “What Do I See at Calvary”.

THE CTS WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY GROUP will meet on Tuesday, February 16, at Christ the Servant, beginning at Noon.

MID-WEEK LENTEN WORSHIP AT FIRST LUTHERAN:
Beginning Wednesday, February 24, and continuing each Wednesday through Lent, First Lutheran will hold mid-week Lenten services at 7 pm. Please join us as we gather for worship – however, there will not be soup suppers prior to worship. Our journey to the cross this year will focus on the love of our Savior and the world which received him. Join us for this journey to Calvary.
Our Wednesday mid-week offerings this year will be given to the Circle of Freedom ministry. The “Noisy Offerings” taken on Sundays and the drive-thru communion during Lent will go to ELCA World Hunger.
LUTHERAN LAKESIDE CAMP WANTS YOU!!
It’s that time of year again! Early Registration is ready for you. First Lutheran has agreed to send our youth to camp the week of July 25-30, 2021. We budgeted for this cost. This would also be a good week to have our men and women go to camp and volunteer. There are always jobs available.
Cost for the week, grades 3-8 is $465
Register by February 28, 2021 to get early bird discount of $50.00 =$415.00
Parent Deposit $100.00 per youth= $315.00
First Lutheran will pay $315.00 per youth.

CIRCLE OF FREEDOM WORKDAY: Kim Crawford reports that they have purchased their building in Seymour and are planning a workday on Saturday, February 27, from 8 am-4 pm. If you would like to help, please contact the church office for more information (641-774-4875).
FEBRUARY IS PASTA MONTH for the Ministry Center. Examples would be pasta, processed cheese, boxed macaroni & cheese, sauces, boxed pasta salads, etc. Thank you!
