AT CHRIST THE SERVANT:
This Sunday, June 7, there will be worship at 11 am in the church sanctuary.
Also at CTS on June 7, there will be a SPECIAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING following worship to discuss and vote on repairing the north wall, replacing the fellowship hall windows, and putting a metal roof on the church.
AT FIRST LUTHERAN:
Sunday, June 7: THERE WILL NOT BE DRIVE-THRU COMMUNION!!
Sunday, June 14: Outdoor Worship is being planned on the west side of First Lutheran on the large cememt pad to begin at 9 am. Please bring your lawn chairs. There will not be a brunch and coffee will not be served.
Sunday, June 21: Begin worshiping in the sanctuary weekly at 9 am.
THE CONGREGATION COUNCIL will meet this Monday, June 8, at 6:30 pm, at FLC.
THE BREAKFAST GALS WILL NOT MEET DURING THE MONTH OF JUNE.
WEIGHTED BLANKET MAKING AT CTS: THEY WILL NOT GATHER DURING THE MONTH OF JUNE. Their next planned gathering will be in September.

CONCRETE PROJECT TO BEGIN SOON AT FIRST LUTHERAN
First Lutheran is delaying the beginning of worship because the cement work will begin in the church parking lot sometime around the first part of June. Once the cement is poured and finished, it cannot be driven on for at least a week.

CANCELLED STAMP UPDATE:
We are doing very well collecting cancelled stamps. Due to the cancellation of our June gathering, we will continue to collect the stamps through mid-October.
REMEMBER: Every Sunday, at 10:30 am, you can listen to the weekly sermon and prayers from First Lutheran Church and Christ the Servant Lutheran Church on KIIC Radio – 96.7 FM out of Albia, IA. This broadcast will be an ongoing ministry of the two congregations every Sunday at 10:30 am.

THE BREAKFAST GALS BASEMENT SALE HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FALL. They will continue to take donations for the sale through the summer, so feel free to keep bringing your donations to the First Lutheran Church basement.
IT IS TIME TO BEGIN MOWING THE CHURCH LAWN!!
If you would like to volunteer to mow the church lawn at First Lutheran please call Wendy and she will put you on the schedule (641-774-4875). This ministry would involve mowing and trimming the area immediately surrounding the church building (inside the circle driveway) and sweeping off the sidewalks.
