HONORING OUR HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE, BRAD SOBOTTA!!
ON SUNDAY, MAY 17, FIRST LUTHERAN WILL HONOR OUR HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE, BRAD SOBOTTA, during our drive-thru communion which will begin at 8:45 am. Brad will greet each attendee and will be handing out cupcakes! Brad is the son of Chad & Stephanie Lukavsky. He graduated from the Wayne Community High School this year.

CHRIST THE SERVANT TASK FORCE WILL MEET THIS SUNDAY, MAY 17, at Noon, following drive-thru communion at Christ the Servant.
THE CONGREGATION COUNCIL WILL MEET THIS MONDAY, MAY 18, 6:30 pm, at First Lutheran.
LUTHERAN ADULT FELLOWSHIP and the CHARITON WOMEN OF THE ELCA WILL NOT MEET IN THE MONTH OF MAY.
THE BREAKFAST GALS BASEMENT SALE HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FALL. They will continue to take donations for the sale through the summer, so feel free to keep bringing your donations to the First Lutheran Church basement.

IT IS TIME TO BEGIN MOWING THE CHURCH LAWN!!
If you would like to volunteer to mow the church lawn at First Lutheran please call Wendy and she will put you on the schedule (641-774-4875). This ministry would involve mowing and trimming the area immediately surrounding the church building (inside the circle driveway) and sweeping off the sidewalks.
Please consider helping with this important ministry.
