SPECIAL CONGREGATION MEETING: At the request of the Executive Committee and the Church Council, a special congregation meeting will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at 10 am at FLC and Noon at CTS for the purpose of approving the selling of the parsonage and secondly to grant the Executive Committee authority to accept the highest offer. THE BREAKFAST GALS will meet Tuesday, November 10, in the Fireside Room at FLC, beginning at 8 am.
“SHARING THE WEIGHT” BLANKET MAKING at CTS will take place Tuesday, November 10, from 9 am-3 pm.
THE WOMEN OF THE ELCA will meet Thursday, November 12, at 1 pm, in the Fireside Room at FLC.
CINNAMON ROLL SUNDAY will be next Sunday, November 15. We thank you as you continue to support our youth planning for the next ELCA Youth Gathering.
A BIG THANK YOU to those who have mowed the lawn and kept it looking nice at First Lutheran this year. Your dedication is greatly appreciated!
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who donated money or school supplies for our school bag kits. We filled 187 school bags and took them to the ingathering in Cedar Rapids on October 17. From a contact at the ingathering, they collected over 2,000 boxes of quilts and kits. Although total numbers aren’t finalized, items collected were 3,000 quilts, 700 baby kits, over 9,167 school bag kits, over 941 health kits and 200 fabric kits. The semi was filled and arrangements are being made to get the rest of the items to Minneapolis. Thank you!!
THE MINISTRY CENTER IS IN NEED OF ½ GALLON MILK BOTTLES. They can be left at First Lutheran.
A SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER IS STILL NEEDED for Sunday, April 25, at FLC.
