With recent donations and pledges to our copier replacement fund together with a special allocation by our church council from unbudgeted receipts due to a federal tax rebate received in September, we have reached our goal of $4,000! As earlier pledges toward this fund continue to be fulfilled, we will begin the process of identifying and contracting for a refurbished copier to replace our currently failing copy machine. Hopefully, we will be able to once again provide smudge-free copies in the very near future.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us to reach this goal that we set together at our special congregation meeting in June! We also thank the staff of our synod for bringing the possibility of the tax rebate to our attention and for helping us complete the appropriate paperwork that made these funds available to complete this goal.
