Special Adult Forum

For decades now, the church has talked about the importance of encouraging the ministry of all the baptized—in their daily lives. And yet for those same decades the church has largely placed its emphasis on what members can and should do in and through the church. What matters, and what we count, are Sunday school teachers, committee members, worship attendees, and food pantry workers. The Rev. Dwight DuBois, Director of the Center for Renewal at Grand View University and a pastor of the ELCA, will join us in worship on February 5 and then engage adult forum participants in a conversation about ministry in daily life and what the church can and should do to equip and empower members for ministry in the world
