Sunday, November 11, 2018: A Very Special Morning at Christ the Servant

10:00 a.m. Judd Kruse will tell the story of his experiences in Tibet and Nepal as part of the Cancer & Beyond group excursion. Included in his presentation is a description of the week-long walk around Mount Kalish (a holy place for Buddhists and Hindus) and the flag ceremony conducted there. In addition to the flags Judd prepared for family and friends, he also took flags for Pastor Sally and her sister, Sue, and our precious friend, Finn Carroll. Don’t miss this!

11:00 a.m. Christ the Servant welcomes First Lutheran to a joint worship service that includes a recognition of veterans. Participate in bells across America and ring a bell with us at 11:00 a.m. to commemorate the anniversary of the Armistice.

12:00 noon A faith family potluck will provide nourishment for the body and food for the spirit as we share a dish and enjoy a time of fellowship. If you are unable to bring a dish to share, please come anyway. All are welcome!
