The Day of Pentecost Sunday, May 27

Pentecost is the fiftieth day of Easter…the eighth Sunday following a week of Easter Sunday…the day when the fire of God’s word now rests on the foreheads of the faithful. On this day, we keep the resurrection of Christ by celebrating the Spirit of the risen Christ in our midst. Jesus Christ has not gone away but is here with us, and we stand to greet him and hear his words in the gospel reading. Join us in this festival celebration and remember you are invited to bring red geraniums and wear red!
